Thus, taking you down a path to create the best version of yourself. I have experience with children, adolescents and adults. This has enabled me to support those to better manage life stressors such as anxiety, depression, school issues, chronic illness and divorce.

My approach intertwines various approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.

My Approach

Life can be challenging and overwhelming to navigate alone. My role as your guide, supporter and educator is to help you through your journey of balance, connection and growth. The therapeutic relationship is collaborative, built around trust and openness about your feelings and experiences. My approach intertwines various approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Together we will build a solid foundation, develop positive coping strategies, strengthen connections and explore healthy communication patterns. I believe there is a strong connection between the mind and body and because of this, we may incorporate mindfulness practices throughout therapy including increased self-awareness, breathing exercises, meditation, movement and yoga. My goal of therapy is to restore balance within your life which will enable you to better manage the challenges that you face on a daily basis.

Mindfulness

The practice of non-judgmental awareness of the present moment, including awareness of ones thoughts, feelings and sensations. Thus, helping people to better control their thoughts, rather than being controlled by them.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

This therapy focuses on making connections between thoughts, behaviors and feelings. Through evidence based techniques and strategies you will develop alternative ways of thinking which lead to improved behaviors and positive feelings.

Narrative Therapy

We all have a story, these stories are based on our life experiences both positive and negative. These stories shape who we are and how we view ourselves. Together, let’s change your inner narrative and re-write your story.
