Alissa Wedel, LMFT

My philosophy intertwines various techniques aimed at enabling you to develop coping mechanisms and better manage the challenges that you face on a daily basis. Together we will develop healthy habits through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused therapy and mindfulness approaches. Which include, strengthening communication, breathing exercises, mediation, yoga, movement, all in support of greater self-care and awareness. The ultimate achievement being balance within your life that will enable you to accomplish anything and everything you desire.

I’m a mother, wife, conqueror of a chronic illness, certified yoga instructor, success story from a divided household and believer in compassion, empathy, and kindness. When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, going to the beach, cooking, decorating our home, practicing yoga and mindfulness activities.
